Freeze Panes in Excel When working with large spreadsheets, scrolling up and down (or left and right) can make you lose track of headers or important information. That’s where Freeze Panes comes in. It’s like pinning certain rows or columns so they always stay visible , no matter how much you scroll. Where to Find Freeze Panes Go to the View tab on the Ribbon . Look for the Freeze Panes option in the Window group. Options in Freeze Panes Excel gives you three main options: 1️⃣ Freeze Panes Freezes both rows and columns above and to the left of the selected cell .
